Kosher Dining by Aramark

Kosher Dining On Campus

The Cafe at the Perelman Center is now open.

Cafe hours are Monday-Thursday 11am -7pm. There are a variety of grab and go items and meals that can be heated. Drexel students (and other patrons) will be able to use meal swipes, dining dollars, dragon dollars and cash / credit to purchase items at the cafe.

Aramark is also encouraging students to download their campus dish app where they hope to be able to keep students informed about available menu items (including kosher products) and more!

Kosher Dining Off Campus

We recognize that the cafe’s selection may not be sufficient to support student dietary needs.  If your kashrut practice requires that all foods have a heksher and/or requires rabbinic supervision for prepared foods and would like to request to be released from the required dining plan you must contact DragonCard office at (215) 895-6095 prior to the beginning of the term.

Students interested in purchasing a meal plan from the University of Pennsylvania (which includes meals served in the kosher dining facility – Falk Dining Hall at Penn Hillel) should follow the following instructions:

  1. Go to  www.upenn.edu/dining and review dining plan options.
  2. Select from any Upperclass dining plans or plans designed for ELP students
  3. Complete online registration (requires credit card). The Student will be issued a temporary Penn Card and the dining plan will be applied to the card.
  4. The card can be picked up at the Penn dining office (Stouffer Commons, 3702 Spruce St. ). Card has a $40 fee.

Any questions about the process please contact: Christina Rosenberry, Housing and Meal Plan Coordinator Office 215 – 898 – 3547dining@exchange.upenn.edu
